Salutatorian, Bryant Paulino developed a Minecraft OLL Church realm, facilitating the diploma acceptance of each eighth grade student. Each student chose an insect and drew an accurate zoom in picture, enhancing observational skills. While the students were free to use whatever supplies they wanted or they had at home to make their insects, our artists had to use “scientific eyes”, maintaining the proportions of the body and without forgetting that all the insects have two antennas, the body is divided in three parts, they have 3 pairs of legs (6 in total) and some of them have a pair of wings. Students completed their study, writing the scientific names of your insects and facts about the insects they chose.
Uncertainty and inconsistency invariably leads to speculation, and at the forefront of recent COVID-related speculation has been the question of when school buildings will open again. That question is always followed with, "What will it look like?" In the first days of the COVID-19 crisis, my office established our Health and Safety Task Force. Guided by the advice and direction of government officials and health experts, we have been proactive and thorough in establishing policies to protect the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff.
