I would like to introduce Ms. Loretta Curran as the new middle school teacher of Science and Social Studies. She will also be the Grade 7 homeroom teacher and teach Religion to the seventh graders.
Ms. Curran has taught middle school students at St. John School and Visitation School, both in the Bronx. She has taught the subject areas of Science, Math, ELA, and Religion and moderated science clubs in both schools. She has also taught social studies to middle school students at St. James School in Manhattan.
Ms. Curran has a B.A. in History, an M.A.T. in Biology Education, and an M.A. in Medieval History – all from Fordham University. She also has a Graduate Certificate in Nutrition and Healthy Living from Cornell University. Ms. Curran attended Catholic elementary and high schools herself here in Manhattan.
Please join me in welcoming Ms. Curran to the Our Lady of Lourdes School community as the new middle school teacher of Science and Social Studies.
