“I love this school! Our daughter is in her 8th year at OLL. The faculty and administration are always respectful to her and truly care about her. Her class is terrific and the kids seem to really care about each other. She is challenged academically, spiritually and socially. Their art, music and language programs are a great asset, as is their affordable and expanding aftercare program. We feel blessed to have our daughter learning in such a safe and nurturing environment.” ~ Parent
“Great school where your child receives the attention needed to excel academically. My oldest son graduated from OLL with honors in 2013 and now my youngest continues to attend this school and is doing very well!” ~ Parent
“I’ve had the distinct pleasure of dropping off and picking up my 3 children at OLL for the past 6 years. As a parent, few things make me happier than the wide smiles on their faces each day—OLL’s dedicated teachers inspire my kids to work to their fullest potential and never underestimate themselves.” ~ Parent
“OLL fosters personal growth through the acquisition of knowledge and the strengthening of faith. Next June, my daughter will graduate from OLL as a self-possessed young lady with the will to succeed in anything she puts her mind to.” ~Parent
“At my other school, there were too many distractions. At OLL, I feel excited to learn and unafraid of challenges.” – 6th grade student
I graduated in 1961 after 8 memorable years. I remember our yearly plays in the auditorium and singing Christmas carols in Central Park while snowing. We had all the hard work and practice we put into it.
The nuns were very dedicated to teaching. Our religion was the major reason they and all of us were there. The grotto was under the main stairs and confession was held downstairs at 4 pm on Saturday. The children’s Mass was at 9 am on Sunday, a High Mass in Latin. Alma Mora had a wonderful voice in singing.
Those were good old days. Oh my God. I had the best early education there, never will I forget. I love history and I love these pictures that were posted up above, everything looks the same.
The nuns were very special to me and I would go to the convent and rectory to help. It was peaceful and nice to be with them. Fond memories.
The academics are strong, and our son is making leaps and bounds in reading and math. His confidence builds as he does presentations in class and reads in church. He wakes up every day, excited to go to school.
The years I attended OLL were the best of my education. A child’s early education is the pilar of their future. I have always received compliments in regards to my manners , respect and how to interact with others. They were strict but I’m proud to say I went to OLL. Thank you, Mother Felicity , Mother Eduards, Mother Rebecca, Ms. Liptrop, Mother Lorenzo. I have raised two fine young men based on the values of OLL. On top of all this the education was exceptional!!!!!! I graduated 1967-68. Thank you!!!!
